JanRain issued an update to the SocialSharing plugin recently that makes it easier for developers to deploy it. The major change is that the RPX file no longer needs to be uploaded to your site. In doing so, the plugin — which we include as a part of the default deployment options — needs to be initialized differently. While legacy configurations will work, new customers should default to the new configuration. In some rare instances, customers who are not using different paths for their social sharing will need to update thier code immediately in order to have a working version of SocialSharing.
